Thank you for visiting the Year 4 website page. This is the place for all the latest information regarding life in year 4 as well as the place to keep up to date with all of the exciting things we get up to. We hope you enjoy finding out what we have been learning about.

    Year 4 Teachers

Our topic 'Meet the Flintstones' is all about life in the Stone Age. To kick this topic of we turned our classroom into a cave and spent the afternoon creating cave art like Stone Age people.

    Blakesley Hall

Y4 visited Blakesley Hall and were shown around by Phil, who explained how the Tudors lived at Blakesley Hall.  He told us about Richard and Elizabeth Smallbrooke who owned Blakesley Hall and about the servants who looked after them. We really loved looking round the house. Some of us got to dress up as Richard and Elizabeth Smallbrooke and some of their servants. It was a hard life being a servant.

    Fraction Museums

In Set 2 we have been looking at what a fraction is. To help us learn we made fraction museums. Some of the fraction exhibits are labelled. Some have question marks by them. See if you can work out the mystery fractions!
