We participated in the annual football tournament in memory of Roger Rathbone who was the head teacher of Stechford Primary School. He sadly passed away suddenly a few years ago. He enjoyed football and his head teacher friends thought it would be a fitting tribute to hold a special tournament to commemorate him.
Our school has taken part each year. This year was the most successful as we won!
Everyone played brilliantly together against all the other school teams and it was obvious how much they enjoyed themselves. Roger’s children presented the trophies to our winners.
We are all delighted and proud of this success! Well done team BGPS!
